Spend two to three days here
Denmark is a fun country to see in transit, from Germany to Sweden. Worth taking a couple of days to see, but not necessarily worth going to all on its own. It’s an expensive city, with a similar landscape to a lot of other European countries.
Copenhagen (Spend 2 days here, but can be done in one long day)-
With that said, Copenhagen is certainly worth a visit for a couple of days, and you should take time out of your schedule to enjoy the city if you’re going through anyway. Maybe stay here and visit Malmoe across the water, and use Copenhagen as your base. It’s a beautiful city, in Summer and Winter, and it’s a nice day of being a tourist without too many crowds.
Christiania is kind of an unadministered no man’s land and is definitely worth going out of your way for if you don’t have kids with you, and/or are free-spirited enough. If you do have kids then go visit Tivoli, one of the oldest amusement parks in the world. It is on the expensive side, but what amusement park isn’t? It is worth it though. If you’re like me and my cousins, do both Christiania and Tivoli.
