Spend 4-5 Days in Ireland
Few places have as much outsized influence relative to its size as Ireland, and so it appeals to many demographics. I can see how it would be a fun visit for anyone. Drinkers will enjoy the pubs, breweries, and distilleries, families will enjoy the scenery and history. Either way, Dublin is a great time, and I would recommend going West. We went north to Belfast and while we had a good time, I’d recommend Galway and the coast over Belfast, unless you are a big Titanic history buff, and/or have a lot of time.
For traveling around you can rent a car but it might be hard to see over the hedgerows. Consider a train, or a bus if you’re okay with them. I hate busses, but I figured they were worth mentioning.
Dublin (2 days should be fine)
Go see the Dublin Brewery, Jameson Distillery, & Trinity College. Explore the city, and have a good time. A lot of guys will do their bachelor parties here, but it really didn’t seem too wild.

Drive to Galway, Limmerick and back to Dublin (2-3 days)
We didn’t do this route so I don’t have pictures, but I wish we would have gone this way. The Cliffs of Moher are supposed to be beautiful, but beware of the fog. Galway is a fun college town and should be worth the visit. If you have time I have heard Cork and Dingle are gorgeous, but be sure to research it first.
Belfast (Optional – 2 days)
We came here for the Game of Thrones tour, the “troubles” history, and the proximity/ease of getting to from Dublin. However, it was really not worth it. The Game of Thrones museum was cool, but not worth its own trip.
Ireland is easy to navigate, safe, friendly, and a lot of fun. If the roads were a bit bigger and didn’t require driving on the wrong side of the road, I’d give it a 1/10.
